Aww yeah, I love the carnage in this. Literary action at its best and most brutal. You can feel the fury in the viscera, and the sensory details with each blow make the fight incredibly satisfying to read. I also loved the stop-and-breathe descriptive moments throughout (“The people’s shapes charred into the acrid ground like a child outlining their sibling with chalk” especially stuck with me.) Is this a part of a greater series?
